CONSULTING JOBS PERFORMED SINCE 1992

21 March 2002 until 27 April 2002, PT. Indospec Asia Petroleum Bangadua. Planned, researched equipment availability and wrote the drilling programme for well BDA-2, a shallow gas prospect in north-central Java.

15 May 2000 until 20 March 2002, performed various, short term, one-off consulting jobs for small operators involving wellsite supervision, well planning, technical writing, vacation relief work, etc.

18 November 1998 until 21 April 2000, Sabbatical. Suspended consulting operations to study Web Design, Web Graphics, Internet Navigation and HTML programming in California.

17 February 1998 until 4 March 1998, represented P.T. Sele Raya as their technical advisor during the drilling of an interval of well Meruap-9, a problem well in southern Sumatra. My immediate supervisor was Mr. Richard Bullard.

10 December 1997 until 8 January 1998, represented Energy Equity Ltd. as an observer, during the drilling and testing of well Meruap-7, an onshore well located in southern Sumatra. My immediate supervisor was Mr. Peter Mercier, Drilling Manager.

24 October to 31 December 1996, worked for Energy Equity Ltd. in their Jakarta, Indonesia office, planning the drilling of Singa-1, a deep, high temperature, high pressure well, to be drilled onshore in southern Sumatra in 1997. My immediate supervisor was Mr. Peter Mercier, Drilling Manager.

25 August to 17 November 1995, returned to Mongolia to supervise the drilling of SOCO Tamtsag Mongolia's second well of their 1995 drilling campaign. The well was drilled to a total depth of 9,875 feet in 61 days. The time interval for drilling and testing the well was from 25 August until 7 November 1995. I remained on location from spud in until rig down. 8 November to 17 November, prepared final well reports and computer diskettes for the Mongolian Petroleum Authority in Unlaanbaatar.

24 July to 24 August 1995, worked in the production department for SOCO International Inc. in Krasnovishersk, Russia. Supervised the running of a new plunger lift system in the Logoskoya Field.

12 February 1995 to 30 June 1995, worked for SOCO Tamtsag Mongolia Inc. From the 12th of February until the 3rd of April was spent doing liaison work with Chinese National United Oil Company in Beijing, First Drilling Co. in Rinqiu and the Mongolian Petroleum Authority in Ulaanbaatar in preparation for the drilling campaign. From the 3rd of April until the 29th of June was spent on wellsite in the Tamtsag Basin, Mongolia, on the Mongolian Steppes, as Company Representative and Drilling Supervisor on First Drilling Company's Rig #45123. Drilled the first exploratory hole to be drilled in Mongolia for 30 years. The hole was drilled with a Chinese rig and drilling crew. Brought the hole to TD, 9,843 feet, as a dry hole, in 63 days.

Worked for Apache Bentu Ltd. in their office in Jakarta preparing tender documents for the 1995 drilling campaign and writing various end of well reports for the 1994 drilling campaign. The period of employment was from the 5th of November 1994 to the 9th of February 1995.

Drilled two holes in Sumatra with Sebina Rig #3 for Hadson Bentu Ltd. from the 5th August to the 5th November 1994. One, Seng-1, was a high pressure well near the town of Pekanbaru, Riau. The other, in the intermontaine region of Western Sumatra, was for Apache Oil Sumatra. Hadson Bentu Ltd. was owned by Apache Oil at the time. Previous attempts to drill in the Seng-1 area resulted in the blowout and burning of three rigs.

8 February to 4 August 1994, Hadson Bentu Ltd. Prepared tender documents for bids for the 1994 drilling campaign. Evaluated the bids. Helped prepare AFE's. Designed rig piling diagrams for swampy locations. Prepared well location diagrams for wellsite construction. My immediate supervisor was Mr. Glen Bayes, Drilling Manager.

Two well, two rig move, jungle operation in Sumatra, just south of the town of Pekanbaru. Performed the duties of drilling supervisor on helicopter portable Sebina Rig #3 for Hadson Bentu Ltd. My immediate supervisor was Mr. Wayne Berge, Drilling Manager. Employed from 10 August 1993 until 16 October 1993. Post-drilling duties consisted of cleaning up and mothballing all the wellhead equipment for future use and arranging the yard in Pekanbaru, followed by office work in Jakarta from 27 October 1993 until 6 January 1994.

Performed the duties of drilling supervisor on the jackup rig Vanguard II during simultaneous operations on the Belida 'A' Platform, Natuna Field, Indonesia for CONOCO Indonesia Inc. Two of the wells, BA-14 and BA-15, were drilled in record breaking time -- 4255 feet in 24 hours on BA-14 and 4882 feet in 24 hours on BA-15 -- under my supervision. Subsequent logging and casing operations were also conducted in record breaking time. My immediate supervisor was Mr. Jim Depew, acting Drilling Superintendent. Period of employment was 4 April 1993 through 13 July 1993.

Inspected a land rig for KUFPEC prior to their acceptance of it for a drilling project in Seram Island, Indonesia. Wrote and submitted a report to Mr. Leroy Draine, Drilling Manager.

Performed the duties of training instructor for P.T. Kridasemesta Gemilang. Developed course material and curriculum and taught a two-week training course entitled "Drilling Fundamentals and Practices". Three courses were taught between the 1st of November and the 24th of December 1992. This work was carried out simultaneously with the design work cited below.

Designed environmental protection equipment for Atlantic Richfield Bali North Inc. to be used on a land-based drilling project on Pagarungan Island, Indonesia.

Performed the duties of drilling supervisor/drilling engineer for Springfield Resources Inc. to drill the exploratory well Maiza-1 in Tunisia. The well was brought to a conclusion on schedule and below budget. The period of my employment was 1 September through 1 November 1992. My immediate supervisor was the president of the company, Dr. Daniel Fornari.

Built, supplied and operated floating pollution control equipment for Atlantic Richfield Bali North Inc. for an offshore drilling project in the Kangean Islands, Indonesia from 1 January to 31 August 1992.
